FOBAC's Mission:

Operating under the Bridgeport Ranger District on the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, the Bridgeport Avalanche Center (BAC) specializes in avalanche forecasting and education. Supported by the Forest Service, BAC receives essential infrastructure like office space, technology, vehicles, and safety equipment, all overseen by the OHV program lead.
